"Green-Tinted Sixties Mind" is a song by American rock 'n' roll band Mr. Big, which appears on the 1991 album Lean into It and as the B-side for "To Be with You". Written by Paul Gilbert, the lyrics concern an old-fashioned girl, living as if she were in the sixties. The liner notes from the songs' parent album suggest the inspiration for the song as follows,
"Did you ever notice how old movies from the sixties have sort of a green tint to them? Strange but true."
Though released as a B-side track, the song was promoted by a music video of the band playing the song with female dancers executing a choreography.
This song was covered by Indonesian female solo artist Mulan Jameela on her 2008 debut album Mulan Jameela. The intro of the song is very recognizable due to Paul Gilbert's catchy 2-handed tapping riff.
The song is a staple of the band's live performance. In a San Francisco concert later released as Mr. Big Live, singer Eric Martin stated that playing the song "felt like the first time, every time".
